Personal Background & Education
Antonia Vučinović is a soprano born in Kotor, Montenegro. She currently lives in Vienna and studies at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (mdw) in the class of the renowned soprano Laura Leigh Aikin, where she is in her seventh semester.
She refined her acting skills with Prof. Anette Wunschn and Marie Helle, and worked in the field of Lieder and oratorio with Anton Scharinger and Matthias Lademann. Her vocal mentors include István Mátyás and Luisella Germano.
She began her musical education in Montenegro, where she completed primary music school (flute, piano, singing) and secondary music school (solo singing, music theory). From an early age, she has also studied acting and dance, which has significantly contributed to her stage presence.

Artistic Activities & Performances
In December 2025, she participated in a masterclass with Anna Pirozzi and performed at Casa Verdi in Milan.
In November 2025, she appeared as a soloist at the re-establishment of the Bokeljski Symphony Orchestra in Montenegro.
The year 2025 was marked by her debuts in leading roles: Mimì (La Bohème, G. Puccini) at the Operosa Opera Festival directed by Lada Shylenko; Donna Elvira (Don Giovanni, W. A. Mozart) at the Montenegro Music Centre, conducted by Maestro Marc Korovitch and directed by Aleksandar Nikolić; and Suor Osmina (Suor Angelica, G. Puccini) at Schönbrunn Palace in Vienna, directed by Nastasia Griese and conducted by Hartmut Keil. In the same year, she also gave her ninth solo recital.
In 2024, she made her debut in the role of Mutter in Humperdinck’s Hänsel und Gretel at Schönbrunn, and performed at the Schlosstheater Schönbrunn with the Beethoven Philharmonie, conducted by Maestro Alfred Eschwé. As a member of the Philharmonia Wien choir, she also participated in the acclaimed production of Verdi’s Aida at Oper im Steinbruch, St. Margarethen.

Awards & Career Highlights
She is the recipient of numerous national and international awards, notably a laureate prize at the “Paolo Barrasso” Competition in Italy (2019), as well as first prize with the highest score in her category at the Montenegrin National Competition in 2016, which she considers a significant turning point in her career.

Languages & Personal Interests
In addition to her artistic work, Antonia cultivates a wide range of interests. She speaks Montenegrin, German, English, and Italian, and is currently learning French and Russian. In her free time, she enjoys diving, golf, yoga, and tennis, reflecting her curiosity and openness to new experiences.
